Phi-Vestavia RCR Vanguard     pedigree Bridger is our handsome blue merle baby, who is also our foremost show dog due to the two majors he’s won in the first three shows he attended. He has 8 points, both majors. Phi-Vestavia RCR Vanguard, Bridger, named with hope for the RCR (Rocking Corgi Ranch) Cardigan Welsh Corgis who may follow him. He is exactly what we were hoping for in temperament, happy and confident. Although he will be different in training due to that confidence, he has shown in the ring that he can learn and knows his job. His movement is quite amazing, and garnered him a five point major in Portland over a wonderful winning bitch. Our most recent adventure was attending the Canadian Cardigan Corgi Club National Specialty in June, 2004. Initially the specialty and six all-breed shows that followed it were the excuse for a trip to the Yukon. But Bridger’s performance, taking Winner’s Dog at the National Specialty over the AKC #1 Cardigan for 2003...then taking two major reserves and a final Winner’s Dog at the all breed shows, showed without a doubt that he has grown into his early potential. We can’t wait to get back to showing in the US and we now have a championship to finish in Canada as well. All of Bridger’s points are majors, now in two countries!
